Re: covid 19 help
Hi! I spent hours online and on phone tonight and could not get help with this! I lost my job in April due to covid, and i am running late on payments,. I was told i I could not qualify to extend payment by a few days. Then someone on Xfinity chat said i could arrange to have my past due amount spread out and paid over time so i could get on track again. I was like THAT WOUKD BE GREAT, a huge help! But then the chat person could not set it up, she had someone call me from 24/7 line and they couldn't set it up. Then i was told i did not have time to wait and call first thing tmrw to set this up with customer service - that i better pay by midnight or i would be disconnected and then have to pay FULL amount due and not just PAST DUE amount. Seriously? I have been a good customer for years!!! So i just 15 minutes ago had to literally set up a payment that is going to BOUNCE my bank account because 5 people at Xfinity could not help me AND I could NOT wait til morning or i would be shut off by then?! Pretty bad for a long time customer who is trying to feed their family and pay rent as well as these bills.

Hello, @ltt705! We appreciate you for posting to the Xfinity Forum. I'm sorry to hear about your experience while trying to extend your payment due date. I can honestly understand your frustration. I was in a similar situation recently. I wanted to check in with you to see if you were able to get any help yet? If not, I'd be happy to review your account to see how my team and I can help! I will need to chat with you in a private message to gather your account details.
Please send a private message with your full name and service address as it appears on your billing statement. If you aren't the account holder, please verify their name as well.
