Raised my bill and then sends me to scammers.

I woke up to a text that my bill has raised 65%. Rightfully I tried to inquire why my bill has suddenly raised I get directed to a chat where a Xfinity employee sends me a link to a different website and asked me to give my social security. Luckily I lied and said I didn't know it. The response was I could use anyone's.

I am so furious.

Hello, @user_dcrl9c. Thank you very much for bringing this concern to our attention. While your post has been made private for violating our Xfinity Forum Acceptable Use Policy (posting a chat transcript), this is definitely something I'd like to have the proper leadership address. Plus, our team can help with any account concerns you may have, including the bill! Could you please send our team a direct message to continue?

To send a direct message:

  • Ensure you are first signed in, then you will see a chat box icon at the top right of your page.
  • From there, click the 'New Message' icon. In the 'To' field, type 'Xfinity Support'.
  • Type your message in the text area that appears at the bottom of the window and hit enter to send. An official employee, such as myself or whoever is first available, will respond.

To expedite your request, we ask that you please include your name and the service address alongside a detailed summary of your request/question. Thank you!
