Question about Xfinity Pro and Unlimited Data

Hi, I need clarification about a confusing situation with Xfinity Pro.

This morning I received an email that my monthly data usage reached 100%. In that email, there was a link that led me to Xfinity Pro. I also searched online and saw a result (screenshot attached, Fig. 1) saying “Unlimited Internet Data – Xfinity Pro for $15/month”. Based on this, I believed Xfinity Pro included unlimited data, so I placed an order.

However, after ordering, I tried to confirm again and realized that Xfinity Pro seems to be something different (WiFi extenders, backup connection, etc.) and may not actually include unlimited data.

Now I am very confused. My questions are:

  1. Does Xfinity Pro really include unlimited data, or not?
  2. If not, I do not want to pay extra for this. My upcoming bill for Sep 24 – Oct 23 is showing $112.25 (screenshots attached), but before upgrading, my plan was only $65/month. I want to confirm that I will not be charged more than $65 either this month or next month.

I already tried calling customer service and using the chatbot, but both experiences were very frustrating and I could not get a clear answer.

Please help me confirm what’s going on with my plan and billing. Thank you.

@hhcc

Thanks for reaching out to us. The Xfinity pro is for the Wi-Fi boost pods and the storm ready device. But if you made any changes to your Internet plan as of June 26 our new next generation Internet plans come with the unlimited data option included with our services, they also include the Xfinity modem for the customers that choose not to use their own personal modem. I'll be happy to take a deeper look at the order to make sure you're getting everything you requested and to set the proper expectations. Just go ahead and send me a direct message including your first and last name and complete service address
