Question about the latest 300Mbps for 40$ a month promo
Xfinity's latest promo advertising 300 Mbps with a 5-year price lock for 40$ a month (or 1 Gbps for 50$ a month) recently popped in my news feed. My understanding is that this promo is only available to new customers. I am currently paying 70$ a month for the 300 Mbps so I started reviewing lower-cost alternatives available in my area. Ideally, I would like to keep my Xfinity service. I have been a loyal customer for many years and I am hoping that you could match this promotion on my current account. Thanks in advance for your assistance!

Hello user_8q481e, Thank you for being with Xfinity for so long! I love when I get to work with a long time customer. I am happy to look into this for us. I know how vital our services are for customers' especially our internet and with the cost of needs going up everywhere any opportunity to save is a welcomed option. In most situations our accounts are limited to the available promotions for that specific account, so new customer pricing may not be an option, however there are times that we will have new promotions for upgrades on the account which could be the same as new customer promotions.
