Prorated bill after canceling service for most of the month?

I canceled all my TV service and handed in three TV boxes in the first week of March, lowering my bill from $252 a month down to $109 a month.

I see than on April 1, my account says I am still going to be charged $252.

Shouldn't my bill for March be prorated based on my new service level?

Hi there @angelno9 ! If the bill generated after the change was made on the account then the statement won't reflect that. The easiest way to check would be at the top of the bill, there should be the "Billing Date", which is when the bill generated. Since we bill a month in advance for services (you'll see the dates the bill is for listed nearby, as "Service From"), it can seem a bit confusing! I hope that's helpful, but please let us know if you need further assistance!

You didn't really answer my question. Will my bill be pro-rated for the 3/4 of a month that my service was downgraded, or not?

And when my automatic bill is taken on April 1, will it take the $252 that was generated on March 5 or will it take the correct billing amount?

Apologies for misunderstanding; yes, the bill that's generated after you've made a change to the account would show the proration, usually on page 3 of the bill. And great question about the Autopay! The way Autopay works is to charge the current amount as of whatever the date that the transaction is processed. So if the balance in the billing system on April 1st is $1.00 due to proration, that $1.00 will be the amount that's deducted. I appreciate you clarifying!
