Promo Pricing

I know this is a common issue but I find it absurd that I currently pay 79 a month (not including any of the extra charges on my account) for 200mbps internet and when I go to look at new customer promo pricing it's 50 a month for 1gig. It feels like a solid burn to know that I'm paying nearly double of the promo price for a quarter of the speed and in order to upgrade in app/on website it's 95 for 1gig is insane to me. If there isn't some sort of way to get promo pricing I am going to have to close my account because I cannot be paying nearly 150 a month for slow internet and then look over at the website for xfinity to be parading around these ultra low prices for new customers only.

MD203 Thank you so much for stopping in for help with your promotion ending and new options. It has been a normal practice for some time for us to have exclusive new customer offers. I am sure when you signed up, you were able to take advantage of a similar offer. Our pricing has changed due to plans and customers' needs changing as well. All of our Xfinity internet packages now include the modem rental and unlimited data to make it an all-in-one cost, and no more worrying about more than one promotion. We also now offer 5-year price lock options with some of the speeds.

We also made changes to our speeds since we did find the average minimum speed our customers needed had changed, so we did also change the speed options. 300Mbps and 500Mbps are not the lower-tier options. Coming from the 200Mbps, we would recommend that you look there. Have you already checked out offers online?

For current customers, we do offer great benefits with your membership status. Xfinity membership benefits include perks, discounts, and exclusive experiences. Free movie rentals and movie tickets, merch, and discounts on Xfinity mobile accessories and smart devices mobile devices like watches. You can find detailed, up-to-date information about membership benefits on the Xfinity website or in the Xfinity app.

@XfinityAmandaB I'm still paying the extra 25 for xfi unlimited, I was never informed of that change. And while I understand that has been a practice for ages now it feels redundant to burn your loyal customers the way you guys do. I understand it's not your fault in specific but it's frustrating nonetheless.
