Probable scam

Was offered 50% reduction in fees if I bought $780. in Target gift cards and called billing back with the codes from the gift cards. It sounded so fishy that I asked at Target about this collaboration..total scam from what I was told. Please alert your customers about this..and they seemed knowledgeable about my monthly charge! This breach is also a concern!

@user_p025zz this is a well known scam that has been around for some time now.  You just have to be patient.

In the meantime:

If you have gotten a call claiming to be from Comcast asking you to buy gift cards or paying upfront for six months or more in exchange for 50% off your bill the FTC is well aware of this scam.  If you get a call like this you can report it to:     https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/#/
The FTC also has a great webpage on Scams.  Please check it out as well.
For Target Gift Cards:
Call 1 (800) 544-2943 and follow Target’s instructions.
Keep a copy of the Target gift card or your store receipt.
Please help to stop the spread of this kind of fraud.
Thanks!
