Price gauging of Broadcast and sports fees.
I researched the TV revenue paid by retransmission from cable/other users to forward watching TV. Comcast has 17 million subscribers (25%) of all cable user subscriptions. The cost to me is $39.45 a month, or $474 a year for above fees for retransmission. All TV broadcasters received $15 billion in 2023 from retransmission. Comcast has 25% of these fees for all subscribers. THE POINT IS COMCAST DOUBLES THE EXPENSE FROM WHAT IT IS BEING CHARGED BY TV BROADCASTERS-Resulting in my annual fee should be appr $237-IF THEY WERE a FAIR MINDED company instead of gauging its customers. Incidentily Comcast owns NBC, Paramount owns CBS and Disney owns ABC, thereby manipulating any fees it wants to add and pass on to cable customers. The FTC is now "supposed to be investigating" cable companies in effort to have then disclose in detail-but you never would see the 100% mark-up of retransmission fees that should normally be charged customers. Research it and you will find this detail is true
