Pressure tactic phone calls
On 3/7/25 I received a voicemail from Comcast stating if I did not contact them, my bill would increase by 50% so I called back and asked what was going on and they tried to upsell my account and if I paid over $500 today my bill would not increase!!! Told the operator that most people cant afford groceries in todays climate, where the hell am I going to to find $500 at the drop of a hat??? I was told of option 2...Pay $400 now and the rest on a different date!!! I resent being placed on the spot to pay a huge amount for a basic service and especially at ransom for a service that is no better during a storm that any other provider. I am at the point of changing my provider unless I can get some resolve to this situation! Just because a company needs to to show growth to its stake holders does not mean I should be forced to pay an extra $47 per month for the exact same service I have had for the past few years!!!!
