Payment with Visa Gift Card

I have a Visa Gift Card I would like to use to pay towards my bill, but the mobile app is rejecting it. Why? Visa Gift Cards are untested like any other credit card and you’re to use your own name and address info. Please advise. Thank you.

I have tried to use my xfinity prepaid gift card at several places. They all reject it. When I call Xfinity, its shows a balance available.  Is this a fake unusable card?

Hi, @user_dcb3f8! Thanks for spending your time today to contact XFINITY over our forums page for help with using that prepaid card. I would have the same concern if my card got rejected multiple times. I am sorry to learn about this experience. We can help. The prepaid cards that we issue are not fake and can be used. However, prepaid cards expire 180 days from the date they are issued. Have you happened to check on if it has has been more than 180 days since the card was issued?

Hello @kulavic5. We do not accept gifts cards as a form of payment, due to security concerns. 

 

At this time, Comcast accepts the following major credit cards:

American Express
Discover
Mastercard
Visa

Hello @user_2sbdqb I have used prepaid Visa cards to pay my bill but they do not always work and this is dependent on the card, not Xfinity. Is there a reason you are unable to use a credit or debit card, bank account using the Xfinity app or go into the store to make a cash payment? You can also visit a Western Union Quick Collect location to pay by money order.
