Payment plans

I have been going through some struggles money wise and have a outstanding balance I had set up a payment arrangement for the 20th but unbeknownst to me I was auto charged for my smud bill and now I don’t have the money to pay my balance they’ve told me my service would be shut off today I initially didn’t want to do the arrangement I had wanted to set up monthly installments on my bill but accidentally signed up for the wrong payment plan I was wondering if there’s any way to now do monthly payments as I had initially planned because I’m in a bind and have no clue how to move forward now

Hello, @user_268b8d I will be happy to do all I can to help! At Xfinity we know having extra time to pay can be invaluable, that's why we offer the promise to pay and payment plan options. It seems like you are familiar with the process, but we'll review this article listed below to make sure we do all we can 👍

Simply log into your account at www.Xfinity.com or use the Xfinity app. If you are eligible for a Payment Plan and have a past due balance you will see a message about Flexible Payments. Select Chat Options to launch the Xfinity Assistant. From the Assistant type "I'd like to see my payment options." Follow each step from here. A $50 payment is required to start a payment plan.

If you are eligible for a payment arrangement you can set this up in the Xfinity app as well or when using the automated system when calling 1-800-Xfinity. I hope this helps 😀
