Paid my bill and my internet has been disconnected anyway

I have spoken with at least 20 agents so far. Everyone says my account looks good on their side but I don't have an internet connection at home. I tried to explain a million times that the account shows the service is disconnected and no one is trying to help. They are sending a technician to my place 4 days after my account was disconnected. Can someone please figure this out, I already paid my bill what should I do?
