Paid balance on account but still showing amount due

Chatted with John and MIchael of Xfinity yesterday.

Last bill July 13th was $68.44, then changed plan two times, once on 7/18, then again on 7/21, ended up with the $30 plan, total bill to be ~$45 per month.

So John told me yesterday that due to the prorating of the new plan, my actual balance due in my account was $46.41, even though my online account was still showing $68.44 to be paid by autopay credit card 8/8.  John also put in the $25 credit I was promised on a 7/18 chat with Xfinity.  So he said after the credit, my account was now showing $21.41 due ($46.41 - $25 = $21.41).  He said I could change my payment amount to $21.41 and then my balance would be zero.

So today I logged into my Xfinity account and paid $21.41 by credit card, but the account is still showing an amount due of $22.03, not zero, to be paid by credit card autopay 8/8.

Can someone please tell me if my account balance is actually now zero and my credit card will NOT be charged another $22.03 on 8/8?

Hi! Thank you for sending us your billing concerns and I understand how concerning the amounts being correct is for you. I had this happen to me with another bill I had with another company and I was able to get it cleared up so I understand what is happening here and I can help you. Now, sometimes the My Account app and online site of ours do not update in real time so it can cause confusion but that is why I'm here and can help.
