Overcharged for almost 2years

While trying to figure out why my bill has gotten so high when all I have is the internet wi fi  184 a month the representative informed me that I was being charged for equipment and services I don't even have dating all the way back til 2021/2022 but that she could only reimburse me for the last 4months why is this? Idk but I need all my money back this is not right and I feel like I'm still being over charged cuz it has me paying a 27$ TV broadcasting fee each month but I have no TV ser,vices , so why is this ? Who do I take this too? The news or what?

Hello and welcome to Comcast. Thank you so much for reaching out to us today about your billing concerns. I am sorry to hear that you have been getting charges for services you are not using.  According to the Residential Service Agreement, residential customers must contact Comcast within 120 days of the date on the bill to dispute the charges.

 

Please send us a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.

Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:

  • Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send your message

It is your responsibility to check your billing statement monthly in order to catch errors like this.  As was pointed out, you can only be credited back for 4 months; you agreed to and signed the Residential Service Agreement.
