Over 12 Months paid for and Not Used

I started service wirh xfinity in July 2025. When I first set up my account I put in an incorrect address that was slightly off from my correct one. I was told it was closed and never received any other equipment for it or anything. A few months ago when I called about an issue with my correct and current account I eas informed that this old and incorrect account was still open. They did not mention that it was still being paid for but I was told it would be closed. Now it is October 2026 and they're saying I' only eligible for 3 months of a refund for this account despite never using the service at the wrong location or even receiving equipment in order to set up the wifi. That's an ENTIRE YEAR of service I paid for and NEVER USED that they are refusing to give me my money back for. They can clearly see I never used any of the service at that location. This is absolutely absurd and the customer service experience I've had with Xfinity would normally make me stop being a customer immediately however my apartment uses Xfinity and everything was already wired. I want my years worth of money back.
