Outstanding balance

I had service with all the iterations of the cable company as it changed names.  When I disconnected service I wasn't informed of a charge of $126.  I believe it had to do with the Storm service internet.  If I have to pay this money, I want the equipment even if I am unable to use it.  I have called multiple times and have been promised it would be fixed.  Now I have been turned into collections. I told them I was disputing the charge and was told I would hear back but it should get resolved.  The resolution was now they have added it to my credit bureau as an outstanding collection.  I wouldn't recommend Comcast/Xfinity to anyone for their customer service alone.  Attempted to get better rates before changing providers.  I should have changed years ago. As far as executive complaints, it looks like this is it.  Sad a company who grew so big, became so careless about their customers.
