Outage Refund
I am extremely upset for this Outage. I have lost over 6 hours of work time which is equivalent to $500.00 of PTO AND productivity. I am an expecting father with no access to paternal leave which only allows me to use my PTO to support my wife and newborn during their time of need. This is an outrage and I'm fully dissatisfied with the extended time periods and false information provided throughout the day about when service will be re-enabled! 100$ will not suffice for the damages I've incurred during this time. What will Xfinity do for restitution!?

Concern moved here to the Billing help section for greater exposure to the Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

@XFi_User_1221 - Congratulations on the new addition to your family, and thank you for your feedback! I'm a father of one, daughter will be 4 in March. I understand that when your services aren't working (especially when you need them most), it's frustrating for everyone. Area-wide service impacting events will be acknowledged in the My Account app and in the Status Center. Resolution times listed are estimates, and it sounds as though you may have experienced delays, and for that I apologize. One thing that may help is that you can text OUT to 266278 (COMCST) to check for interruptions in your area. (Data and messaging rates may apply.), and, you also have the option to receive a text message update as soon as your Xfinity services are restored (which can also help if delays occur).
If you were affected by a recent service interruption, you may be eligible for a credit to your account. To get started, check your eligibility for a credit by navigating to the Status Center and scrolling down to the Tips in case of an interruption section, then click the Check eligibility link. If your account meets all requirements for eligibility, a credit will be applied automatically. And of course, our team of Xfinity experts on Digital Care are also here to help.
