Outage credit

I experienced at least 5 separate days of Xfinity Internet outages in October, but when I attempt to apply for a credit for them the Xfinity app tells me that I've exceed the amounts of credits I am eligible for, but I haven't been given ANY credits whatsoever in October despite multiple October Xfiniity outages.

Hello @user_yemavx You can request a credit for the downtime in the service center once services are restored. You can access the status center here:

When I request a credit in the status center, it says exactly the same thing:

"Your account isn't eligible for a credit at this time"

This does not solve my issue requesting credit for the five October outages.

My last credit was issued BEFORE the month of October. I don't see why I am not eligible, unless Comcast thinks it's okay not to issue any outage credits after its service goes out to my neighborhood at least 5 times in a single month.

Thank you for sharing. user_yemavx. We truly want you to get the most out of your Xfinity services, and our team is here to support you every step of the way. Thank you for taking the initiative to use our self-service options to request a credit — we appreciate you trying that route.

If your account doesn’t qualify for a credit, here’s what you can expect:

  • Xfinity Assistant will explain why the request didn’t meet the criteria.
  • You’ll then be transferred to a live agent for further support.
  • Please note that responses may vary depending on your account history and the specific situation.

If you have any questions or need help navigating the process, I’m here for you!
