I have been blocked from linking my bank checking account to Xfinity for the monthly Xfinity payment. The banking ACH link would give me a discount compared to my forced current method of using a credit card. The SIX MONTH block started in mid August '24. I had plenty of money in the checking account but my bank refused payment because there were "too many numbers" in the account number. That's the best explanation I got. So I get blocked at Xfinity for SIX MONTHS due to a clerical error? So I lose about $30 because I can't link my bank account for 6 months? I could understand if there was some type of fraud involved but that is not the case. Why is there a block of such length? If the customer doesn't pay, then cut off service but why a SIX MONTH block on the payment method? [EDITED: Personal Information]
