online payment

Cannot make an online payment because everything I click the online payment button on the website

I get access denied. Also the payments page returns 404, meaning that there is no payments support page.

Why is comcast always responding with access denied?

Why is this always happening? Why cant comcast customers make a payment online?

Payment Denied?

This is so frustrating. Access Denied. Access  Denied.  Access Denied.

user_bba94c Thanks you for reaching out to us for assistance today with your payment concern. Has the payment method you are using had trouble in the past, or is this the first time you are getting the error when trying to make a payment?

This access denied issues seems universal and has been for a long long time and there has been no discernible change to the website that comcast even cares to even address this problem to make payments.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Access Denied

You don't have permission to access "http://payments.xfinity.com/new" on this server.

Reference #18.92d3e17.1710545316.5ae8ebe

This is what I encounter every time, nearly every time, I try to make a payment on the comcast website.

Is there any chance that comcast is doing anything to address this issue?  I'm sure if this problem was as public as the AT&T wireless coverage outage

issue, this problem would be fixed immediately. Unfortunately, this is not the case and it seems comcast ignores captive audiences.

To make it worse, comcast has raised the rates.

A few weeks later comcast claims to have improved service without raising rates.

Hey there, @user_bba94c! We're still more than happy to look into this for you and help however we can. To clarify, are you accessing My Account online, here, using a web browser? If so, what type of device are you using (i.e. smartphone, tablet, computer, etc.)? Have you tried making payments after logging in to the Xfinity App, by chance? We provide many ways to make payments including these options as well as at our Xfinity Stores or through the automated system when calling 1-800-XFINITY (1-800-934-6489). When you get a chance to answer my first couple of questions, we'll see what else can be done to resolve this for you as quickly as possible. Thank you for taking the time to reach out!

I prefer to make payments using the comcast.net website so that I can check my email at the same time.

Also it shouldn't matter what device and browser is being used. Any other payment sites work just fine,

it's comcast that is creating the problem. Also comcast should eliminate all the trackers on the website,

it would definitely speed up the website.

Sometimes Chrome and Edge don't always play nicely with the Comcast/Xfinity website.  It's why we ask if you have used another browser so that we can figure out what is going on.  If you're using those two browsers, try another one like Firefox, or any one that doesn't use the same engine as Chrome and Edge.

When you get the 404 page have you signed in before that?
