Olympic Deal SCAMMM!
Hey, so I went into the Xfinity store in July to transfer my wifi to my new address and got roped into signing this new deal called the "Olympic deal" where I was offered by the manager of the store a new iPhone 15 for free if I traded in my old iPhone and would have a free line of xfinity mobile if I changed over to their mobile plan with the purchase of new wifi if I was a college student. However, once I got my next bill I found out that wasn't true, I was promised a monthly bill of 40 dollars and was charged 100 dollars which included the price of the phone and the phone bill. When I went into the store they told me I would receive a credit for the phone bill, which should be fixed next month. Well of course I got charged the same thing the month after that, went back to the store, and got told the same thing and just that Xfinity credits take time. This last month, I got charged the same and the people at the store told me the same thing and that I should just wait for the credit and that's when I finally called customer service where the man on the phone told me the deal I allegedly signed up for never existed and this is the bill I am stuck with until my contract expires. OBVIOUSLY, I wouldn't have traded in my phone if I knew I was going to have to pay for it my old phone worked just fine and I am just so shaken by how Xfinity just blatantly scammed me especially when I cannot get in touch with any supervisor or any manager who can help me. SO [Edited: "Language"] XFINITY THANKS FOR SCAMMING ANOTHER BROKE COLLEGE STUDENT :).
