No More Promotions Not Even in Retention Anymore
After a quarter of a century, I've come to an end. I was bounced around by in person reps, billing reps, and ultimately connected to the supposedly special Retentions Department that has access to all sorts of promotions nobody else does. After over a hundred questions and 40 minutes on the phone, the best the rep came up with was to cut my internet speed in HALF, and that would lower my current, non promotional high bill, by ten dollars a month. Ten dollars. So I'd still be paying 40 dollars more a month than the previous promotion, but get only half of the internet speed. In what universe does that make sense? So not only does the Retention Department not have any better deals than the regular ones or the nonpromotional prices, but they are actually WORSE! All they kept talking about was adding a mobile phone--same deals that the store mentioned, but the store rep promised that Retention would have promos not involving adding a mobile phone. Not true, the Retention rep told me. It's all the same garbage no matter which route you take.
