No longer offer assistance to existing customers

I’ve tried multiple times to lower my bill and I’m not offered any viable options. It’s like Comcast doesn’t care about current customers anymore only great deals for new. One agent claimed to find a 2 package deal with dropping a never connected home phone line. Sounds great, I was excited to change from $210 to $188 it’s something. Short lived; not once was it specified until another agent looked into it that they dropped the internet speed to 400 and picked popular tv. When I say that it was a proposed change (I have 1000 right now). There’s not even an indication of a price drop to change it to 800 myself a step down. There should be a tv package to choose the channels we actually want to watch and not have hundreds of channels we don’t use. I have been online and on app to change my tv packages and let it populate a monthly cost. Every single one below mine is even more than what I pay now. I’m told I have an old grandfathered deal. “My price is unique”, I dont feel valued. 

I’m at end of my patience and considering cutting out Comcast or the cord. I’ve been a loyal customer for convenience. I would never recommend for a “good deal” anymore.
