No I wasn't behind, but I don't understand the credit balance part.
If you made three payments of $112.63 this month, and your bill is only $112.63, you overpaid by 2 payments. You have a credit of $225.08 and it shows as a negative.

Does your bill show something like:
Owed: $112.63
Paid: $337.89
Balance: -$225.08
