Negative Balance on Closed Account: How to Get the Balance Refunded Back to My Checking Account

I recently closed my account and have a negative balance. How do I get that money refunded to my bank account on file? I don't want a check sent to me as my address on file is not my current address and I can't figure out how to change it. Also, when I try to chat with a representative, I am told I am not allowed to since I am not a current account holder on chat.

Hi there, @user_yf090l . I do apologize for the frustration and inconvenience you're experiencing. In order for us to assist with refund-related concerns and discuss the details of the account, we would need the account holder associated with the account to contact us directly for security and privacy purposes. Once the account holder reaches out, we'll be happy to review the refund status, discuss any available options, and help address any concerns regarding the mailing address on file. Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to assisting further. 💙

Thank you for your reply, @user_yf090l The account holder associated with the account in question is welcome to reach out to us directly here on this forum using their own social media account. Once they contact us, we'll be happy to review the account with them and assist with any refund or account-related concerns. Due to account security and privacy guidelines, we're only able to discuss account-specific details with the account holder or an authorized user on the account. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to assisting them. 💙
