Need to add to bill, not activated yet

None of my routers at home are compatible with my new wifi. I want to add equipment to my bill but my wifi isnt activated yet, BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE COMPATIBLE EQUIPMENT. This has been one of the most infuriating experiences in my life and I really wish the chat bot were more knowledgable about how to actually help customers.

We can certainly have a look into this and see what we can do for you. Can you please click the Direct Message icon at the top right of the page, click on the pen and pad icon and enter Xfinity Support in the "To" section of the chat and provide us with your first/last name and full address so we may further assist you?

I usually just ask the boy to speak to a customer service representative and it fails one up for me.
