Need more affordable tv & internet package

My bill skyrocketed to almost $200 per month for basic cable and internet service.

I primarily use my cable tv to watch sports, but I have found more affordable

options for my tv needs through other companies and streaming services.

I have been a Comcast/Xfinity customer for over 30 years, and wanted to

receive a better deal for my cable tv and internet package before I canceled my 

Comcast/Xfinity account. I discovered that Comcast/Xfinity is offering new

customers a $140 deal that is the total monthly amount for the popular tv + internet connect more plans and all of the equipment, fees and taxes. 

When I called Comcast/Xfinity to try to receive a better deal as a longtime customer
I was not given any offer, and the representative changed my cable tv Popular plan to

the bare bones Choice tv plan. I am now beyond frustrated at the poor customer service,

and extremely high prices for the unacceptable ordeal of only having a few basic 

channels to watch.

I want to receive a more affordable and reasonable package so that I can

remain a longtime Comcast/Xfinity customer, and be able to watch my sports channels

again. Comcast tells me I am a valued longtime customer, but it is obvious that

only new customers are valuable enough to receive affordable services.

Can I receive the Popular TV and Internet Connect More package for less than

$150 per month total including both of the plans, all of the fees (equipment, broadcast tv fee, etc.) and taxes?

  • Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Messaging" icon 
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support"
      there. As you are typing a drop-down list appears.
  • Select "Xfinity Support" from that list. An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it
