Name change on billing statement

My friend has recently made me as a primary user of Xfinity account. Even the billing section and all other details in the app are on my name, but even then my friend's name is being displayed on the bill. I need your help in changing the name on the bill to be my name.

Greetings, @user_9258bc ! I hope your week has been treating you well. Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your busy day to leave a post on our community forum about your account. You have definitely come to the right place for assistance.

In order for the account to be fully in your name, you will need to complete an Account Change Request. There are a few different ways to do this, but the easiest option would be for you and your friend to visit an Xfinity Store together, where both of you can present a valid government issued picture identification (Driver's License, State Photo ID, Passport, Military Card, etc.). Our amazing Xfinity Representatives at the store can process the Account Change Request on the spot, and place the account in your name.

If you are not able to come in to the store, we can create a ticket for you to complete the process electronically. There are a few more steps involved, but it would save you a trip to the store. Please let me know if that would be a better option for you.

As the employee has stated, you need Comcast help to do this. If you haven't already, you might want to check out https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/change-account-ownership.
