My payment history on your website seems completely wrong

Am paying mu Internet bill via my bank and have the proof that I paid correct amount $79) on the required day for last 12 month (indeed I paid the same way for last 6 years, but that is not relevant here).

 

Looking at the https://customer.xfinity.com/#/billing page, I see

 

New charges due January 9, 2021$161.95
Recent payments and credits-$479.95

 

This is completely meaningless and cannot be resolved by the https://www.xfinity.com/xfinityassistant/ tool.

 

How can I get in touch with the human with sufficient intelligence to help me resolve this situation?

Do you read your billing statements monthly or just rely on your bank to pay the bill?  If you don't read your statements, you probably should first go through those making sure you also read any notes.
