My bill just went up from $55 to $94
My internet bill just increased from about $55 to $94 per month. I only want internet service and do not want TV, phone, or mobile bundled with it.
At $94, I’m going to have to look at other options. I know Xfinity NOW offers lower-cost internet service, and I haven’t yet researched whether Race Communications fiber or AT&T Fiber are available at my address, but I will if my rate stays at $94.
I’d prefer to stay with my current Xfinity service if you can find an internet-only loyalty or retention promotion that gets my monthly rate back closer to what I was paying.
Thanks,
Justin

Do NOT let them do that! When did you get your $55 plan? You should have gotten an email around that time And/or an extra cost on a bill charging you for a one time payment locking you into that $55 for 5 YEARS…..XFinity does this to PPL THINKING THEY WONT KNOW THIS AND THINKING we’re all dumb….Keep a close eye on your bills going forward. You also should have gotten an unlimited mobile line with that internet line AND data is not separate *Unlimited is Unlimited*….. I sure hope this helps you….

Hi Justin, apologies if you’re seeing this twice. Xfinity seems may have deleted my first response but I’m not sure so I’m sending again just to be safe. DO NOT let them raise your bill hun. They tried to tell me that “my promo was up and that why my bill went up”. Then I called the next month bc my bill changed again and then it was another excuse, and the next month another and so on and I was calling customer support almost twice a month since LAST MAY (2025) to have my bills fixed bc ever since my daughter and I switched over and got cell service our bills have been SO WRONG….
well I finally decided to spend 3 entire days auditing both my internet and my mobile accounts and boy let me tell you…The FCC is going to have a field day with everything I found (and have all the back up to prove everything I’m about to say…..
For that $55 cost, when did that start for you? Check the email you use for your comcast/Xfinity receipts. You will have all your terms and conditions in that email for that agreed upon $55.00. Depending on WHEN you started, you very well may have locked yourself into a 5 year plan. If you were smart you would have. It would have been a $5 or a $10 ONE TIME FEE. That will have showed up on your bill right at the time you locked in the service AND you also would have gotten an email. Hopefully you don’t delete your emails bc you can do a quick search for Xfinity 5 Year Rate. Hopefully This Info was helpful. Let us know how you made out and if you need more help. I’ll try to remember to check back here when I can (I don’t have such a good memory to remember to come back on here every day - sorry)….
