My bill doubled overnight

My 600 Mbps promotional rate expired on August 26, 2026. My previous total monthly cost was $55.08.

I reviewed the personalized offers for my account, and the options currently shown are $70 for 300 Mbps, $85 for 500 Mbps, $100 for 1 Gig, and $85 for 2 Gig with a 5-year guarantee.

I contacted customer service chat and asked them to review all available retention, loyalty, and renewal offers, but they stated they could not improve the pricing stated above.

I would like to remain an Xfinity customer, but I cannot justify paying $85 for 500 Mbps when Xfinity is currently advertising 500 Mbps for $45/month and 1 Gig for $50/month to new customers.

Please review my account for any available retention or loyalty options before I cancel service. My target is 500–600 Mbps at approximately $55–$60 per month.
