Multi device discount

I currently rent 2 cable boxes from xfinity and receive a multi device disount on my bill. Is the discount for rented devices only or if i decide to buy my own boxes and return the rented ones do i loose the discount? Thanks

user_g1lra6, Thank you for reaching out to Xfinity Support. You are receiving the multi-product discount most likely due to having cable and internet. If you were to purchase your own modem, it would not change that discount.
