Monthly Internet Price Increase 35%

I received a monthly internet bill this morning that was $36 higher than last month, increased by 35% from $69 to $105 in one month. This percentage cost increase is not expected. Because of inflation? What is the reason?

Thank you for reaching out to us @Qdpier! I completely understand wanting to know why your bill increased. Have you had a chance to look at the PDF statement of your previous bill that was $69? On page 3 of the bill there should be green font stating “the end date of your promotion is…”. This should be located below the “Your Xfinity package” section on page 3.

Thank you for that, I just saw it and turned off the paperless bill. You are saying the promotion ended so price increased 35%. But I started from $35 monthly for the first year, then $49 monthly for the another year, then $69, and $105. Could you let me know how many promotions I had in the first year?

How many promotions am I still carrying now that will continue to end for future price increases?

You're welcome @Qdpier! Typically, most of our promotions are only guaranteed for 1-2 years. In some cases, there can be a roll-off pricing for the year after the promotion expires. To see what promotions we have to offer, I highly recommend checking out our amazing Plan Builder site. To see what promotions are on the plan builder site, start by signing in to your account here and then checking our Plan Builder site here.

Our team can definitely see what promotions are currently active on your account too. Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
 - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
 - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it.
