Monthly internet bill went up

I have a two year contract that does not end for another three months. My bill has gone up by $20 out of the blue without any warning that I could see.

From the sounds of it, it seems like this might be associated with annual price adjustments. Promotional pricing is something that is locked during that period, fees and taxes that impact the services does adjust accordingly. A good peace of mind, around October each year, you will see on your Xfinity statement a breakdown for the upcoming new year, changes to the costs to provide services and what you can expect for the new year.
