Mobile phone doesn’t charge and ring doesn’t work

I moved to an area where there is no xfinity stores near by or iPhone stores. Also I am disabled transportation is a problem. I wasn’t told about the end of my phone insurance cover being just a year. I need my phone for doctors appointments and ordering groceries etc. It’s my form of communication. I have too keep my phone plug in to get it to work. I tried to end my phone contract but it would cost too much. Xfinity customer service lied to me by saying they would send me a replacement phone and didn’t do it. Who do I need to talk toi

user_064c6c Thank you so much for your post for help with your phone and options for replacement or repair. All manufacturers provide a 1-year warranty during that time they cover your replacement options for mechanical or electrical failure. For us to replace or repair your device you would have needed to have our  Xfinity Mobile Care which is our insurance which is a monthly subscription that covers:
  • Accidental damage (drops, spills, and cracks)
  • Unlimited free screen-only* repair for smartphones
  • Unlimited free back-screen repair for smartphones**
  • Hardware service (mechanical or electrical failure)***
  • Loss and theft

The XMC has to be added at purchase or shortly after. This is the same with most major phone providers and is separate from the manufacturer warranty that is only good for the 1st year of the life of your phone. If you do have the XMC you can still get help with getting your phone repaired you would just need to file a claim and pay a deductible. You can reach our Xfinity Mobile Team with a call, text message, or via chat. Call or Text: 1 (888) 936-4968 or [Chat with a Specialist](https://www.xfinity.com/xfinityassistant/?channel=xMobile)
