Loyalty Discount Credit Email from Xfinity

Just got an email today from Xfinity that I copied and pasted below:

-----

Great News! We're giving you a loyalty discount

We hope you're enjoying your Xfinity Internet. As a reminder, your current promotional pricing expires on March 6, 2026. However, to thank you for being an Xfinity customer, we'll be applying a "Loyalty Discount" credit to your bill for the next 12 months as long as you do not make changes to a product with a promotional, service, or product discount.

No action is required by you. We'll begin apply the credit once your current promotional period ends. So, just keep doing what you love (and love how fast you do it) with the best WiFi for your home.

Thanks again for being with Xfinity.

However, this email from Xfinity does not show what amount the "Loyalty Discount" credit is for. Can I assume my current monthly rate will stay the same for the next 12 months? How do I find out for certain?

Hi! I’m facing the same problem with my loyalty discount email that I received a couple days ago. Did you manage to get this sorted out? I’m currently stuck on a long call with customer service and feeling a bit frustrated. Any updates would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

@user_oc27hp Hi there, unfortunately no I have not gotten this sorted out. In the DMs I am getting a run around that they cannot see the Loyalty Discount credit as it will not apply until my current promotional pricing expires at which point it should theoretically kick in. However no one has been able to let me know what the exact amount of the Loyalty Discount credit is. And without knowing the amount of the credit, there is no way to figure out what my new monthly rate will be and if it will be staying the same as what I already have.

It's completely ridiculous to me that Xfinity would send an email like this to customers telling them not to switch their current plans because they will be getting a "Loyalty Discount Credit" for the next 12 months, but then giving absolutely no details as to how much the credit will be for or what the customer's new monthly rate will be. It leaves the customer completely in the dark as the credit could be for $1 or $100 as far as we can tell.
