Loyal Customer (20+ years) Discount

Why is it that a loyal customer for over 20 years can only get a $15 reduction in monthly bill and must lose most of the TV channels they currently watch?  Or, if the decision is to switch to internet and phone only (landline needed for an elderly parent), a loyal customer is still quoted nearly $200 / month to keep their current internet speed or can save an additional $20 by dropping their internet speed.  Basically, loyalty is a hinderance.  The days of actually getting some loyalty discounts are long gone.

Thank you for your feedback and choice of service providers, user_sz768. The Xfinity Rewards is a new program just for Xfinity customers and our way of saying thank you for being with us. Rewards members enjoy a special mix of special perks, unique experiences, product benefits, and so much more. The longer you’re with Xfinity, the more rewards you get; and it’s free and easy to use.

I'm a customer too and know it's important to subscribe to the services you enjoy the most, and at the best value. We are committed to delivering the best in class products and services and continuously invest in technology and innovation. Our pricing is reflective of that. Many factors impact pricing – TV package, Internet speed, equipment, and additional features. With that in mind, I would happily review your account and the promotional offers available. We can also revisit your services and ensure you are in the correct package based on your needs.

Please send a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forum's page.

I have already reached out to the loyalty team and they have provided the solution above.  I can remove most of my channels or drastically decrease my internet speed to save $15.  If a direct message to support gets me this team then they have already failed.

A direct message to Xfinity Support takes you to Corporate Employees, not the loyalty team.

I am not a Comcast Employee.
