Long-term Diamond customer — request for Digital Care plan review
've been an Xfinity customer since 1998 and currently have Internet, Ultimate TV, Xfinity Voice and Xfinity Mobile.
My current home-services bill went up last week from approximately $270 to $334 per month including taxes. I currently have 1 Gig Internet, but I am interested in moving to 2 Gig and migrating from the legacy Ultimate TV package to the current TV Premium package while retaining my existing Voice service, three TV boxes, premium channels and sports programming.
I've already spoken with telephone customer service and visited an Xfinity store. Unfortunately, neither was able to find a competitive existing-customer offer, but surprisingly, the reps gave different quotes for the same service and the store prices were actually higher than the options I can see online. Even going on-line, I see prices that are cheaper than I currently have yet when I click on them, the total monthly charge goes up!
Before I make any changes or consider alternatives, I'd appreciate having the Digital Care team review my account for all existing-customer, loyalty and five-year offers, particularly for 1 Gig and 2 Gig Internet, and determine whether my legacy package can be migrated to the current pricing structure at a lower total monthly cost.
I'm not asking anyone to make changes yet. I'd first like to know the best complete monthly price available while retaining comparable services.
