Lied About Contract
I was told that my bill would be increasing by almost $60 at the end of December when I called to see if there was any promotions or discounts. I qualified for the customer service representative on the phone told me my current contract would be offered to me again at the same price with no increase at the end of November or beginning of December so I called back at the end of November when I hadn’t received anything and that customer service agent told me the same thing but yet when I called today, they told me that wasn’t true and my bill was going to be increased by almost $60 and there was nothing else they could do. I don’t understand the point of the previous agents lying or telling me stuff when they are misinformed

Same thing just happened to me. I called about increase. The rep told me I needed to sign this document to get 26.00 credit on my next statement and to lower the bill. I'm livid. I told him it specifically states term contract and 24months and he said I was not signing a contract or restarting either. It was just so he could give me 'this promotion". What promotion? I have no clue. Then I get an email confirmation today claiming 12 month term with termination fee.
I'm very angry with Comcast/Xfinity. I would love to file a formal complaint on the rep who spoke with me and Xfinity management need to review the recorded call. This rep boldly lied to me. I do not want to be in any sort of contract with Xfinity.
