Late fee on statement sent before bill due date

Hi, this is a recurring issue I have with xfinity. I have bill pay set up through my bank to pay my internet bill in full the day before the payment is due. However you send the next month's statement 1-3 days before the due date, so some months my statement says I haven't paid plus there's a $5 late fee tacked on. This happened again last month while I was very sick, the higher balance messed up my bill pay, and the payment was never sent. I have since paid my April balance but would like the late fee refunded. Also it'd be great if you stopped sending out bills before the previous month's due date. Thank you

iqaehtoaweisw Good morning! We appreciate you taking the time to reach out to our Xfinity Forums Team regarding your billing cycle and payments. I can see how getting a late fee would be a concern. If you are paying through a bill pay through your bank, it can take 1-3 business days for the payment to be received, which could be causing the issue. I'd be happy to take a closer look into your account, and the late fee that was applied. Can you please send a Direct Message with your name, and service address so that may access your account?

Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pen and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
A "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
