Kept getting charged after disconnecting with rep on phone call.

Good evening, I recently cancelled my service due to moving into a new home in a different city that does not have Xfinity available. I've been disconnected for about a month and had already switched to another provider for the remaining tenant. Somehow I got charged for the current month. Please help me resolve this because it feels odd paying for a service I was certain I cancelled and haven't even used for a month at this point. Thank you!

Hi, @user_s8gb1i! Thanks for reaching out about the account. I hope you are getting settled into your new home. We are glad to check on this and ensure things are perfect. The final statement with the billing corrections comes by USPS mail a few weeks after closing the account. It should reflect the date you wanted to close the account, and show credits for any dates past that we have billed you for.

Please send us a direct message with your full name and the complete service address where you had the account with us to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the direct messaging icon located at the top right of this forums page.

Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:

1.  Click "Sign In" if necessary.

2.  Click the "Direct Messaging" icon.

3.  Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon.

4.  In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support".

5.  As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

6.  An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.

7.  Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.

8.  Press Enter to send it.

You can see how to send us a direct message here, https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/guidelines/how-to-direct-messaging-within-the-forum/697ba1e570934d009185c514.
