Is this email real? [Edit]

I received an email from [Edit: Email removed] stating the following. Is this a legitimate Xfinity email account?

You’re eligible for a WiFi Extender at no extra cost

xFi Complete includes a home assessment to help ensure you have reliable WiFi, and it looks like you may benefit from a WiFi Extender (formerly known as WiFi Boost Pod) to help extend your WiFi coverage and eliminate dead spots throughout your home.

Thank you for reaching out. I hope you are doing well today. I appreciate you taking a moment to create a new post. With xFi Complete, we complete a whole-home Wi-Fi evaluation upon activation of the service. After the initial 14-day assessment period, you’ll receive additional emails with information about your xFi network performance.

As you can see here: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/whole-home-wifi-evaluation, you'll get a different email depending on the results. I can double check the account to be sure. Please send me a direct message with your full name and service address to get started.

To send a direct message, please click on the chat icon in the top-right corner of the screen, and select "Xfinity Support" to initiate a Direct Message.
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "direct messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it

Can you confirm this is a legitimate Xfinity email or a phishing attempt?

I do see that a notification was sent at 2:19 P.M. regarding eligibility, but I can't view the actual email on my end. As a result, I didn't want to confirm the sender until I was absolutely sure user_5px451. I'm not finding the results of the test, but it doesn't necessarily mean this is spam. To be safe, I can open a ticket to have your eligibility confirmed.

I am more concerned about the phishing attempt. Can you verify if that is a legit Xfinity email address or domain?

user_5px451, as listed above, I can't confirm at this time based on the account history. I would, as a result, like to open a ticket before I have you click a link I can't say for certain came from us. If you have xFi Complete, it's very possible you do qualify, as the whole-home assessment is part of the perks of getting this add-on.

Not asking based on account history, but as a representative of the company you should be able to confirm or deny whether this is an official Xfinity email account or domain
