iPad scam
I like a lot of others fell for the iPad scam. I tried to lower my internet bill and ended up with a "free" iPad, which was sold as just a $50 activation fee. I am now on a 36-month contract I never agreed to, and it's made my overall bill 20% more expensive. When you use the online chat, you get passed around between the internet and mobile departments, and no one wants to help. It's a complete sham. I have screenshots of the deal I signed up for, and I even have confirmation that said this wouldn't make my bill any higher. Unbelievable, awful customer service, when I have been a customer for years and now have an iPad I cannot afford or need.
