Internet Price Increase

My bill has gone up do to my promotions ending. I have called to see what can be done to get my bill back to where it was and I have been unsuccessful at doing this. I have asked for the retention department but will not get transferred. I am unsure how you can offer better deals for new customers to bring them in but cannot offer the same thing to existing customers to keep them. I would like to be able to communicate with someone in the retention department to see what can. Be done. I really would not like to find a different internet company but if I am not able to get my monthly price fixed, I will have no other choice. I have been with Comcast for many years.
