Internet Essentials
I was dumbfounded to read the email that I received on December 20th. "You're excited to share that you have increased Internet Essentials speed up to 75 Mbps, the previous month"; wait for it.... at our expense. You are telling us that you're giving us more internet speed, but and there is always a but, that we are now are going to be paying $5.00 more for something that most or all of us do not need nor can afford. We live in an affordable living senior apartment complex for 55&up; most of which are struggling to make ends meet. Many of us are still working, many are VETS, one of whom rides a bicycle around everyday rummaging through the garbage for recyclables just to pay his rent. I'm sure that he does not have internet service because it is not an essential but keeping a roof our heads is. What happen to the gift of giving without wanting anything in return. Bah humbug
