internet deactivated

My internet has been deactivated suddenly without any notice, when I called customer service they said account has been deactivated because of billing issue though I don't have any outstanding due. 

They said the previous tenant of the apartment had some outstanding balance so comcast deactivated my account without verifying who is currently staying in the same apartment, without verifying the account name, phone number, SSN. This is totally ridiculous and they said turn around time is 1 week to resolve this issue .. this is totally frustrating.

@XfinityWilliam​ now you guys are opening a new account for me after deactivating my existing account (don't know why???) .. this is unethical .. totally frustrated .. pretty bad customer experience .. escalate this to higher management so that no other customer faces such issues .. i am xfinity customer from last ~9yrs

Just now got a call from xfinity and they created new account for me and again charged 25USD for starting the service for the second time and for the same address .. WOW xfinity .. from yesterday I am dealing with bunch of no technical inefficient people from xfinity .. they are so incapable that they can not start a internet service ..

I'm dealing with the same stuff right now it is ridiculous that we have to go through this because other people not paying their bills that lived here before us I know the girl that lived here before me trashed the place. This is one of my good friends' house and I moved in to pay rent and stuff and also kind of fix the place up after all the other people that was just here but now my internet gets cut off two days after I activated and I got school and classes I got to take and I can't get my internet turned back on miss classes so hopefully I don't lose my financial aid. Cuz I am not getting anywhere with nobody
