internet bill has almost doubled

My bill went up $20 one month and the next month it almost doubled over the price I had previously had because my offer expired.  I have tried call & tried chatting online but cannot get a response to my questions.  It appears that any deals that are offered are for new customers.  I only need internet but I do not see myself paying double.  You are welcome to contact me via cell, please?

Thank you.  I have done that.  I also provided my account number.  I appreciate your prompt response and help.

I was also told that my internet price will become doubled from the introductory price of $29.00 when my year contract is up.  Xfinity deserves to be charged fines by the Federal Government for these deceptive practices to get new customers. I'm not impressed!

Hello @user_b08899, and thank you for sharing your feedback here on the Xfinity Community Forum. We understand how this can seem unfair. Please keep in mind, when you sign up for a package or promotion, more than likely, you are signed up at a discounted rate for a certain period of time. After those discounts roll off, then, you will be billed the normal price for your services. Don't worry. My team can assist you with finding a promotion that will better fit your needs. To get help, please first, create your own post with details of your experience, and the services you're looking for, and a member of my team will reach out, so we can see what's available for you.

I no longer work for Comcast.
