Installation waivier
Good evening
when i proceeded with the registration to your services it was mentioned that there was a connection availability at this new place i was moving to and no installation fees needed. When the modem arrived there was no installation available to connect the device to. I reached out and surprised with a 100$ feed that wasn’t mentioned ahead. I was held for 1h and 5m without answers to my concerns. Such price should be mentioned ahead before proceeding with the subscription. Please figure out this for me as I cannot afford such fees inaddition to my monthly payment.
thanks

Good Evening aelsheikh29 thank you so much for taking the time to reach us here via our Xfinity Forums! We do encourage what's called Self-Installation for the majority of addresses, and homes that show this availability dictates that we have a line running up to the junction point from our lines to the outside of the home( called a junction box). If there are no cable outlets installed inside the home, this would be considered the customer's responsibility, and this is where the $100 fee applies for us to install and connect one coaxial outlet.
For more information on this, please see Xfinity - Prepare for a service visit

I believe the description that you mentioned should be mentioned in the steps of registering to your service. I rented the apartment with relying on the info on your website about service availability in the home, wasn’t expecting to pay additional 100$. Is there any solution that can be provided?
