Increase in rate despite being on contract. Please DM. Thanks!

Hi,

I am on a 2-year contract for my Xfinity Internet Service. At the time of signup, I was under the impression that the quoted total monthly price would not change for those two years. However, there is an increase in the rate on the current bill, though I am still within the 2 years of the contract. On looking at the itemization, it appears that the credit for paperless billing has reduced from $5 to $2.

Please let me know what needs to be done so I continue paying the total promotional rate for the rest of the contract period. Thanks!

@vbonline Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us here on our Xfinity Forums! I know it can be frustrating to see any increase in your billing, as a mom of 3 I keep a close eye on my budget and regularly review my bills. I know that every penny counts! Your contract discount hasn't changed, that rate will remain the same until the end of the promotional agreement. Other taxes and fees are subject to change, and we recently changed the automatic payment discount for using a credit/debit card from $5.00 to $2.00. You can sign up for automatic payments with a checking account, using your banking and routing number for a $10.00 discount, which will replace the $2.00 automatic payment you are currently receiving. You can click this link for directions on how to update your payment method.

Thanks Billie. It is just frustrating that different ways are being found to increase the amount paid each month.
