Incorrect Invoices and Debt Collection

To start, Xfinity provides the worst Customer Experience ever. Oh wait! Did I just mention customer? I am not even their customer really. I inquired about their services when I was moving into my apartment but never activated any services with them whatsoever. I received an invoice for them when I immediately reached out to their customer rep to confirm if they had something inaccurate on their end and they confirmed that I do not have any active services under my name and I can ignore it. After a few months, I started receiving notices from Debt Collection companies regarding a debt I owed for services I never activated. I again reached out to them and they confirmed that the account they are trying to collect debt is not at all associated with me. However, they refuse to pass on this information to the debt collection company and accept their mistake. This is frustrating as I have no services at all with Comcast or Xfinity whatsoever still I am being served with these notices. I keep chatting with their rep online and sending over the transcripts to the debt collection company but Comcast blatantly refuses to validate those. This is very concerning!

Concern moved here to the Billing help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.
